Urgent Up date for October Club Night from the Secretary Simon Enticknap

October 8th, 2021

Hi All,

Club night 20,00 on 13th October at the Bell Inn Woodham Ferrers Cm3 8rg

I am sorry to have to advise that unfortunately Ben Wright is now not able to present to us at club night next week, that’s the bad news – the good news is that we have managed instead to get Roger Campbell who will be talking about his experience as an air traffic controller and airport manager at Southend airport. For those of you unaware of what’s involved, this promises to be an interesting and enlightening talk about juggling the lives and safety of aircraft and their passengers in some of the most crowded airspace in the world.

The dates for the Bluebell weekend have changed due to a clash at the Museum of Power and will now run from the 5th to the 8th May. Many thanks to Lesley Willmore who has been beavering behind the scenes to get the planning and logistics organised for us all.

There are still plenty of opportunities for you to step up and lead a run next year – I will bring a copy of the diary to club night next wednesday if you would like to have a chat with me, or one of the other committee members before committing.

Upcoming run Sunday 17th October
